Princess Basma Healthcare Center is Himmetna’s pilot project in its initiative to support Primary Healthcare in Jordan.
The center stands today as a pillar of health and wellbeing for more than 250,000 individuals residing across the low-income areas of Jabal Al-Akhdar, Al-Muhajireen, Jabal Amman and Ras Al-Ain.
Spanning 1770 m across three floors, this comprehensive health center offers a wide array of services including Mother & Child Health, Dental Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Mental Health, General Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Endocrinology, and General Radiology. Following its completion, the center expanded to operate an Emergency Department, Pharmacy, and Laboratory services 24/7, effectively easing the burden on nearby Al-Bashir Hospitals.
The project was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, in Karak, aiming to improve the quality of healthcare services.
Looking ahead, the center is also positioning itself as a platform for innovation, as the telemedicine clinic will soon be activated, enabling the center to reach an even larger segment of the population and provide a broader range of specialized services.
