Zain Jordan renewed, for the third year in a row. its cooperation agreement with the “Himmetna” Charitable Association, according to which Zain supports the comprehensive rehabilitation project of Princess Basma Health Center, which was initiated by the “Himmetna” Association during the past year, to become the total of what Zain provided For this project, 220 thousands JDs.

According to the agreement signed yesterday, Sunday, by the CEO of Zain Company, Fahd Al-Jassem, and the head of the "Himmetna" initiative, Dr. Fadia Samara; Zain will continue its support for the rehabilitation of the Prince Basma Comprehensive Health Center in Ras Al-Ain in the capital, Amman, with an area of ​​1,700 square meters, to contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of the treatment services provided by the center to citizens who need it, and raising the level of health care services provided in the Kingdom.

This step comes within the framework of the extended cooperation that brings together Zain Jordan and Himmetna Innitiative bringing the total support provided by Zain to the association to 300,500 thousand JDs. The year 2020 established the specialized therapeutic isolation department in Al-Hussein Medical City, which includes 18 therapeutic isolation rooms, while Zain had contributed during the past year 2021 in the rehabilitation of the Princess Basma Comprehensive Health Center within the first phase.

This cooperation on the part of Zain comes within the framework of its social responsibility and its keenness to support the health sector, which it attaches great importance to through the various initiatives it launches throughout the year to support this sector, and to provide support to various agencies and institutions concerned with developing the level of health services provided in the Kingdom, and to contribute to achieving The third goal (good health and well-being) is one of the sustainable development goals that it adopts in all its programs and initiatives to manage sustainability.

Dr. Fadia Samara, President of Himmetna initiative, expressed her pride in the strategic and extended partnership with Zain and said: “We highly appreciate Zain’s support for our projects since our inception, which greatly contributed to our completion of distinguished projects that support the government health sector and contribute to providing better health care, especially for the less fortunate patients.” The project to rehabilitate and develop the Princess Basma Health Center will be the first launch of the initiative to rehabilitate and develop 25 health centers across the Kingdom.
