Completed within two months in 2020, this project covers a department that spans 1,200 square meters and features 18 isolation rooms distributed across two wards. The wings were designed and implemented according to the highest international standards for the departments of therapeutic isolation and intensive care, in addition to all medical, service and administrative facilities.

They were designed to comply with the highest international standards related to the curative isolation and critical care departments, in addition to all clinical, support and administrative services associated with these wards. The rooms are further equipped in a way where they can be used for the purposes of intensive care, regular therapeutic or epidemiological isolation. In addition, the air pressure can be controlled inside the rooms to treat patients with immune deficiency.]
The project was completed to a premium quality finish within a record time of 60 days at a cost of JD 700,000 in the form of cash and in-kind contributions from individuals and institutions. Implemented during the COVID-19 lockdown period, this project was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunein, and in the presence of Princess Alia Tabbaa and a number of Armed Forces officers.
