Zain finances the comprehensive rehabilitation project of Princess Basma Health Center in partnership with Himmetna

Zain Jordan provided its support for the project to rehabilitate, develop and equip the Princess Basma Comprehensive Health Center in Ras Al-Ayn in the capital, Amman, through financing of 220,000 Jordanian Dinars.

According to a company statement, today, Saturday, Zain is a major supporter of this project, as it had started financing it in 2021 according to the agreement it brings together with the “Himmetna” charitable association, which initiated and implemented this idea, by mobilizing support and collecting in-kind and cash donations from individuals, companies and institutions. The project was implemented in a record time of 8 months.

The Princess Basma Comprehensive Health Center is one of the main health centers in the Ras Al-Ain region. It covers an area of ​​1,700 square meters and serves approximately 250,000 people in the regions of Ras Al-Ain, Al-Muhajireen, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar and Jabal Amman, and receives about 22,000 patients every month.

After its rehabilitation, the center will be able to provide its services and receive patients and emergency cases 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as it now contains various specialties and services that its patients need, which include a mother and child center, family medicine, general medicine, gynecology, dentistry, and pediatric dentistry, dental surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, dental laboratory, children, and x-rays, in addition to a laboratory, pharmacy, and emergency department.

Through the project, the laboratory facilities were developed, and specialized clinics such as ophthalmology, diabetes, endocrinology, orthopedics, mental health, an ear, nose and throat clinic, a small operating room belonging to the emergency department, and a panoramic radiography clinic for the jaw and teeth were developed. The main laboratory facilities were also developed. And the dental laboratory, in addition to taking into account people with disabilities and the elderly.

This step comes on the part of "Zain" to support the efforts made to serve the health sector in the Kingdom, and to raise the level of medical services provided through a set of sustainable programs and initiatives, in line with the sustainable development goals adopted by "Zain" in its various programs, including the third goal (good health). and well-being), and XVII (partnerships to achieve goals).
