The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), represented by Ms. Lina Abu Nawar, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the President of Himmetna Charitable Organization, Dr. Fadia Samara, to collaborate in various areas of mutual interest. This collaboration aims to improve healthcare services provided to citizens and refugees according to international standards. It will be achieved through continuous coordination in delivering primary and secondary healthcare and capacity-building programs for healthcare professionals.
Ms. Lina praised Himmetna's achievements in initiating vital projects to improve services for patients in various regions of the Kingdom and emphasized the importance of such partnerships in strengthening relations between international organizations and local community institutions. These partnerships also play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and standards of medical services in Jordan.
Dr. Fadia appreciated SAMS's efforts in providing continuous healthcare to those in need and the effective programs they offer in capacity-building for local professionals. She also highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange in the fields of healthcare and mental health.
